Hey…I do love it here, but somehow the Governor declaring that we need to
“Regain control of our streets” because people threw Columbus into the
water is the most asinine shit ever. That’s the line? That’s the line we
shouldn’t have crossed? Not murder, not drugs, not poverty, systemic
racism, failing schools, corruption in the police department (though to be
fair, and to their credit, they haven’t been National news lately). No. But
Christopher Columbus…how much money did we spend fishing him out of the
water?
